Jack and Francenia Richmond founded Appalachian Construction in 2011, during Jack’s final year at Radford University, where he earned a degree in Economics, And Francenia earned a degree in English from Virginia Tech What began as a response to growing local demand for a reliable, honest, and professional contractor quickly evolved into a trusted name in the community. From the start, Appalachian Construction has been built on a foundation of integrity, clear communication, and strong relationships. Quote Process

  • Phone Call

    We will start with an initial phone call to discuss the location, scope of work, timeline, etc.

  • In-Person Visit

    We will then meet with you in person to get a better understanding of your goals for the project and get a visiual of the layout.

  • Estimate

    We will provide a free ballpark budget. If the job is small, we will provide an exact estimate.

  • Begin the Design

    Once we have confirmation from the client, we will begin the design process.

Design Process

  • Team Selection

    Based on the what the project entails, we will select the appropriate team to assign to the job. This includes our preferred architechs, designers, & project manager.

  • Client Walkthrough

    We guide the client through our process and what to expect at each phase so that they are always informed.

  • Approval

    All aspects and products used will be chosen and approved by the client before the job is scheduled to begin.
